No matter what your birth experience was, postpartum support is a cross-cultural necessity, found in all traditional societies as a vital way of honouring life, by revering, exalting and nourishing the new mothers.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine it is said that women are offered golden opportunities of regeneration in their lives- the postpartum time is one of these if we allow ourselves to receive the nourishment we require on a physiological, emotional and spiritual level. The postpartum is a sacred portal of deep personal, ancestral and collective healing.
When a woman is rightfully nourished in this time by her loved ones she can be witnessed and held in her transition from maiden to mother, and bring the many gifts from this rite of passage to her community.
Sessions start at a minimum of 90 minutes in which I am usually spending 2 - 2.5 hours at your home so we are able to have ample spacious time together.

Closing of the bones
Closing of the bones is a cross cultural ritual to close the portal of birth, miscarriage, abortion or life thresholds. The ritual is often performed with two people using rebozos or scarfs to close and cocoon the body. Options for a pelvic steam &// womb massage before, and sitz bath after. The intention is to lovingly alchemize emotionally and energetically the threshold you have just crossed. While physically closing the body. Most women experience a deep stillness while cocooned.
